Signs of Life

Finally, a few things are starting to come up in the gardens–Persian garden cress, Easter Egg radishes, spinach (Space and Bloomsdale), and a few varieties of lettuce.

I was really starting to worry.  This has been the chilliest spring in quite a few years.

Now it is really starting to warm up.  We may hit the 70s tomorrow, though it’ll be windy as heck.  I guess there are just certain trade-offs to living in the Southern Paradise of the Dakotas.

I’ve got about two hundred Blue Solaise leeks awaiting transplant tomorrow morning.  Then the rapini and the rest of the turnips need to get in the queue.  It’s going to get wild.
