Harvest Soup Supper this Saturday!

With chilly fall weather coming up quicker than the leaves are coming down, it’s time to get together and let the friends and vendors of the Vermillion Area Farmers Market cook for you!

Saturday, November 1st  from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the 4-H/Extension Building, 515 High Street in Vermillion we’ll be cooking up a variety of soups with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients.

Bring your family!  Bring your friends! Cost is $5 per person; kids 10 and under get in free.

Hope to see you there!

All you can eat, baby! 😉

We’re not doing it as a fundraiser, we’re just charging enough that we can hopefully recoup our expenses. Low budge can be beautiful!

Oh, and thanks for the offer to keep me and my “geezer” (whomever could you be talking about?) in your guest bedroom. I’ve never been a “kept woman” before….

H’s son in law is coming to pick me up to go pear picking in a bit. So add to the soup supper menu some sort of pear cobbler-crisp-crumble as well.
